CONTRAINDICATIONS

Permanent cosmetic procedures are not recommended for individuals with the following conditions. If you do have any of the contraindications listed below, please consult with your physician prior to booking.

  • Allergy to pigmentation and makeup

  • Under 18 years of age

  • Pregnant and/or breastfeeding

  • Skin disorders such as eczema or psoriasis

    in the area to be treated

  • Botox / Injections in the area to be treated must be minimum of 2 weeks prior or after procedure

  • Active skin cancer in the treated area

  • Experienced post inflammatory hyperpigmentation

  • Undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the treated area

  • Transmittable blood conditions such as Hepatitis or HIV

  • Unregulated diabetes

  • Prescribed blood thinning medications

  • Heart condition requiring medication

  • Hemophiliac

  • Healing disorders

  • Taking skin medications such as Antasure, Accutane or steroids

  • Used Accutane within the last 12 months

  • Currently under or scheduled for radiotherapy or chemotherapy treatment

  • Any radiotherapy or chemotherapy must be no less than 7 months ago from the date of procedure

  • Epileptic who has experienced faint spell or seizure

  • Surgeries including blepharoplasty and or brow lift in the last 6 months

  • Neurotoxin / fillers in brow area must not be within 4 weeks of appointment (recommend to receive before appointment)

  • You may qualify for a coverup / color correction. If your previous brow tattoo/microblading has faded to red/blue/green/pink/purple, it will need to be color corrected and neutralized to a more desirable color before a new color can be deposited. Old brows must be at least 70-80% faded. Corrections usually require two or more sessions (minimum of 8 weeks apart) to achieve desired results.

  • If you have any previous work done by another artist, you MUST receive approval before booking. Please send photo prior booking with good lighting and no make-up to ensure that the brows are correctable or may need removal first. You can use the approval form here.

    • Front facing profile

    • Right side 3/4 turn

    • Left side 3/4 turn

  • If you book an appointment without approval or disclosing previous cosmetic tattoo work, your deposit will be forfeited, and your appointment cancelled. No exceptions.

Allure Brows by Jam

  • We will work together to ensure you are happy with the shaping before we move onto tattooing. We will not be liable for any changes you wish to make to the size, shape, etc. after the agreement has been made.

  • Healed results are NOT guaranteed and will vary with each individual client based on age, skin type, lifestyle, skincare, post care, medication, etc. Additional sessions may be required to achieve desired results.

  • Photos and videos will be taken before and after appointment for records. Imagery may be used on our social media platforms and website for marketing/advertising purposes. Prices are subject to change if extra services are necessary during our appointment.

DISCLAIMER

  • A non-refundable of $100 security deposit is required to complete booking. The deposit is credited towards the total amount due on the day of service. Pay the remaining balance in Cash, Zelle or Apple Pay.

  • If you need to reschedule, the deposit is transferrable one-time only with a minimum notice of 3 days.

  • Reschedules without sufficient notice will result in a forfeit of deposit and a new deposit will be required for a new appointment.

  • No shows will result in a forfeit of deposit, no longer be able to book again in the future and will automatically be charged for 50% of the appointment service rate.
